美国商务部周一发布的报告显示，美国4月个人消费支出(PCE)指数环比持平，逊于市场预期0.2%，是自1月份以来表现最差的一个月，原因是美国人增加了储蓄，显示消费者对经济前景依然持谨慎态度。因昨日公布的美国4月个人消费支出及物价指数不及预期，黄金受益跳涨，可见美国经济数据表现是当前影响金价行情的最主要因素。其他美数据方面，ISM公布的数据显示，美国5月ISM制造业指数升至52.8，预期52.0，前值51.5。小幅好于预期和前值，这已经是连续30个月超出50荣枯线，同时也是今年2月以来最佳表现。
