澳洲联储委员会5月7日决定调降指标利率25个基点至2.75%，澳洲联储指称，澳元汇率处在历史高位是降息的原因之一，而且增长略低于趋势水平，信贷需求低迷。日本股市、欧洲股市和美国股市走强，分流金市资金，同时黄金ETF持仓继续流出，现货金买盘有所减弱，黄金价格承压。美联储5月7日公布数据显示，美国3月份消费信贷增幅仅79.7亿美元，总额2.81万亿美元，创下了近8个月来的最低值，原因是美国消费者减少使用信用卡来支付购物消费金额。
