虽然上周五公布的美国消费者信心指数好於预期，具体数据显示，美国7月密歇根大学消费者信心指数终值85.1，高于市场预期的84.0和初值83.9，创2007年7月以来最高。然而并未能提振美元的走势。美元上周五小幅回落。国际货币基金组织(IMF)上周五公布的数据显示，有8个国家在6月增加黄金储备，包括俄罗斯、乌克兰及阿塞拜疆，而土耳其，德国和其他7个国家减少其部份黄金储备。
