阳K线出现的上影线其实就是伦敦金价在单边上涨行情过程中，遭遇到的高位抛售压力，也可以理解为阻力，上影线越长，黄金多头所收到的上攻阻力就越强，金价的上行动能也就被阻力吸收而减少，因此，若阳K线出现了上影线，说明该条K线所在的时间单位内，多头上攻步伐受阻，金价呈现冲高回落的格局，而回调幅度小于上涨幅度。
上影线越长，就逐渐形成下吊阳线，这在金价上行的过程中，是准备大幅回调的空头反转信号，在金价下行过程中，是低位震荡的信号，后市出现明显阳烛的话，可以判断为反弹的多头反转信号。

图中白圈所示，K线形态为下吊阳线，金价自经历前期的震荡下行走势以后，在相对低位出现了下吊阳线，随后短期盘整，当出现较长阳线以后，金价开始展开反弹，因此，当K线组合中出现下吊阳线时，需按照当前K线的所在位置来预测后市走势。
因此，单看一根阳K线出现上影线就判断后市为空头市场，这种分析方法是不全面的，我们需结合一定时期内K线组合形态、趋势线或布林带等综合判断，将大大提高贵金属交易挂单中所触及点位的准确率。
有时候，阳K线上影线的出现，可能是黄金多头锁定高位止盈目标而获利出逃，导致金价承压，因此也会形成阳K线的上影线，这样才可以吸引低位买盘，且单边上涨或下跌的K线走势，仅在作用力十分强的利好或利空消息面推动下，才会有光头光脚的阳线或阴线。
综上所述，阳K线上方的影线，单单从K线形态的分析意义上说，可以理解成K线在向上拉升的过程中所遇到的阻力，因此无法形成烛体。而从多空力量变化的意义上说，阳线意味着多头始终占据盘面主导，上影线为高位有少量空头进入、或部分多头获利回吐所致。当上影线不断向下刺入烛体内部时，就演变成下吊阳线，下吊阳线的出现，则要根据当前K线组合的走势来确定。
