点差优惠是指我们在贵金属现货投资过程中，在同一交易点位所产生的买入价和卖出价之间的差值达到交易平台所能控制的最低值，例如大田环球贵金属的微点差账户，其点差优惠为每手0.15美元，相较固定点差每手0.5美元，我们每交易一笔，就能省下交易成本0.35美元，而且点差为双边收取，我们从建立仓位到平仓，省下的平均交易成本为0.7美元。

点差是指同一交易点位交易平台给予客户的买入和卖出价，例如当前国际黄金价格为1230美元/盎司，这个是买入和卖出价的中间价，用固定点差0.5间隔，若买入价为1230.3美元/盎司，卖出价为1229.8美元/盎司，所以点差不用在炒金客户的保证金账户里扣除，客户只需根据当前的买入价和卖出价选择交易方向就行了。在大田环球贵金属的微点差账户中，点差在0.1-0.2间浮动，以每手0.15美元为例，假设当前金价为1230美元/盎司，用浮动点差0.15间隔，买入价为1230.1美元/盎司，卖出价为1229.95美元/盎司。
为何按点差间隔后的价位，买入价高出卖出价？
因为我们作为投资者在交易黄金的时候，贵金属交易平台则做出反方向的交易动作，交易平台买入了一定数量的黄金，继而向投资者卖出同等数量的黄金时，其卖出价必然高出买入价，而我们要买入的话，须按交易平台相对中间较高的价位入市，此为交易平台向客户售金的价格，而交易平台向市场买入黄金时，是按低于中间价的价格买进，所以客户向交易平台卖出黄金时，则按低于中间价的价钱卖出。
