黄金顾比均线通常是用来研究黄金价格的中长期趋势，若短期均线组合向上穿过长期均线组合时，黄金价格将迎来一波上涨的行情，若短期均线组合向下穿过长期均线组合，现货黄金行情则会下滑。
五、黄金顾比均线不同形态的获利法则
1、当长期均线组合从低点向上发散，且形态与短期均线组合呈同向上行格局，这时做多能够获利。
2、当长期均线组合处于走平状态，短期均线组合自下而上地穿过长期均线系统，这时做多能够获利。
3、当长期均线组合从扩散状态向下且出现向下聚拢，短期均线组合自上至下穿过长期均线组合，这时做空能够获利。
4、当长期均线组合向下扩散，跟随短线均线组合的向下扩散而趋于聚拢，这时做空能够获利。
5、无论是长期还是短期均线系统，系统中各条均线趋于粘合，代表行情即将发生反转，原来持有的单子因尽快获利离场，或者按现在行情操作相反方向的交易单；系统中的各条均线趋于发散，代表行情将会延续，持有与行情同向的交易单可以继续观望，没有做单的投资者可以顺势入市。
