国际现货黄金是即时交易，是指在投资者交易成交后交割或数天内完成交割，也称国际现货黄金为世界上第一大股票。国际现货黄金手续费，指的是投资者在贵金属交易平台上，入金交易的过程中，给予中介机构的费用。国际现货黄金日交易量巨大，每日平均约为20万亿美元。故国际现货黄金市场没有任何财团或机构可以操控，国际现货黄金行情变动，完全靠市场自发调节。
国际现货黄金交易是利用资金杠杆原理进行的一种合约式买卖。根据国际黄金保证金合约的交易标准，投资者可以利用1盎司的价格购买100盎司的黄金交易权，利用100盎司的黄金交易权进行买涨卖跌，从而赚取中间的差额作为利润。若补足差价，则可以提取实物黄金，最低100盎司。
国际现货黄金手续费指的是投资者给予做市商、交易代理机构及代理人的佣金，一般为50美元，也就是0.5点的手续费，若当天没有平仓，还需缴纳一定的仓息或仓储费。当投资者在金市获利后，以获利金额扣除佣金以及点差，就是投资者的纯利润了。
与此同时，由于国际现货黄金采取杠杆式保证金交易，故投资者每次平仓以后，都需按手数缴纳保证金，大田贵金属的国际现货黄金保证金为每手1500美元。
例如客户在1300美元卖一手空单，那么价格回落至1290，客户能够赚取10个点，所以：
点数*每点单位=10*100=1000美元，扣除佣金50美元，客户在没有平仓的情况下，交易单显示客户的纯利润为950美元。
