什么是黄金期货

所谓黄金期货，是指以国际黄金市场未来某时点的黄金价格为交易标的的期货合约，投资人买卖黄金期货的盈亏，是由进场到出场两个时间的金价价差来衡量，契约到期后则是实物交割。
以伦敦金举例：
黄金期货交易是黄金期货现在进行买卖，但是在将来进行交收或交割的标的物，这个标的物可以是某种商品例如黄金、原油、农产品，也可以是金融工具，还可以是金融指标。交收黄金期货的日子可以是一星期之后，一个月之后，三个月之后，甚至一更多。
是一种集中交易标准化远期合约的交易形式。即交易双方在黄金期货交易所通过买卖黄金期货合约并根据合约规定的条款约定在未来的某一特定的时间和地点，以某一特定价格买卖某一特定数量和质量的商品的交易行为。黄金期货交易的最终目的并不是商品所有权的转移，也不是直接使用伦敦金套利，而是通过买卖黄金期货合约、回避现货价格风险。
