合理控制仓位。这是第一位的，因为只有合理控制了仓位，你才有稳定盈利的机会，不然，你的帐户纵然有过赢利，到最后也会一败涂地。一般将资金的5-10%入市，如果你的帐户资金只有1万美金，那么，你首次进单最好是不超过一标准手(100盎司)，不管是多或空。在行情较好的情况下，进场单子有获利情况下，可以0.5手一加一加的来做，仓位不要超出2标准手，相反，如果进场单子在亏损，千万不要逆市加码，除非你有几亿的资金可以撑。同样，5000美金的帐户，最好做0.5的单子。
进场之前就设置止损。一般2-5美金为宜，或在支撑点下方，阻力点上方。当明显大行情推动之际反向操作不设置止损等于做一单就导致帐户死亡。
趋势做单。有些投资者整天在想这个市场跌了这么多，应该是个底了，于是就多单进场，或者在想涨了这么多，应该是头了，于是进空单。往往市场都会让这些人失望，为什么呢？因为市场不是想当然，市场是有它的规律的。进单之前有个技巧，看市场是偏多偏空，在小的回调后趋势进场做单。追涨杀跌不可行，讲究技巧才重要。
