现货黄金，是投资者进行即买即卖的交易方式。而期货黄金则是在未来交割黄金实物的合约，约定好黄金在未来某一日期进行交易的价值。从定义上可以看出现货黄金的交割时间为现在，而期货黄金的交割时间为未来。而现货黄金属于24小时连续交易机制，并可以随时交割，期货黄金只能在交易日的特定时段进场，并在未来的交割日当日进行交割。因为交易机制的不同，所以现货黄金的风险会比较低，因为出入比较自由，期货黄金因为需要投资者等待约定交易的时间，市场上行情的变化可能会为投资者带来风险。
