一、间接提振美元，从而打压黄金
人民币贬值，首先就会影响到人民币兑外币的汇率。如图，当中国央行宣布人民币中间价贬值后，美元兑人民币汇率大幅上涨，通过汇率间接提振了美元，从而使黄金承压，金价短线走软。
二、引发国内避险情绪，提振黄金
当市场消化了由于人民币贬值拉高美元带来的压力后，市场开始担忧人民币贬值带来风险，尤其是中国国民，他们开始出现人民币会持续贬值的忧虑，这激发了市场的避险情绪，刺激人们由于避险大量购买黄金，从而拉高金价。
三、推涨国内商品价格，助涨金价
