随着我国对黄金期货交易的正式上市，从一定程度上大大加速了开放金市的进度，而且增加为国内投资领域中的一种新兴品种。而交易时间的期货的重要性，相信大家都知道，不同水平内的交易时间对黄金期货价格的影响也有所不同，黄金期货的夜盘交易时间也因为不同的交易平台而有所不同。下面，我们就上海期货交易所和纽约黄金交易平台的夜盘交易时间做出介绍。
1、上海黄金期货交易：据了解，内地期货交易所几年前就曾有过推相关品种夜盘的打算，但当时由于结算问题无法得到妥善解决，最终放弃推出，而通过业内人士的多番要求和研究之后，终于决定于2013年7月5日开始运行，随着黄金期货夜盘的推出，将减少以前国内经常出现的隔夜跳空，价格连续时可以方便管理交易风险。连续交易时间为每周一至周五的21:00至次日2:30，法定节假日(不包含双休日)前第一个工作日的连续交易不再交易。
2、纽约黄金期货交易：指纽约期金或伦敦期金，是全球最大的黄金期货交易市场，采取24小时全天候交易时间。在伦敦金交易中，其夜盘的交易时间为每周一至周五的晚21时至次日凌晨2时30分作为连续交易时段，此时段与上海黄金交易所夜盘时间基本一致，并覆盖了芝加哥商业交易所集团旗下成交量最大的黄金电子盘的活跃交易时段（北京时21：00-2：00)及伦敦金银市场协会每日第二次现货定盘价时间（北京时间23：00）。
其实相比起上海黄金期货交易来说，纽约的黄金期货市场要更大，而且对于中国的炒金者来说，还拥有不可比拟的时间优势，就是可以够抓住21点到24点的这个波动最大的时间段，对于一般的股票投资者而言，下午5点下班到24点这段时间是工作下班后的自由时间，正好可以用来做黄金投资，不必为工作的事情分心。
