黄金期货属于商品期货中的一个品种，办理黄金期货开户，没有开户资金要求，所以黄金期货开户门槛不需要担心。
但是在进行黄金交易时，需要收交易保证金和手续费，交易黄金至少一手，一手为1000克，假设某一时刻黄金价格为340元每克，保证金为10%，则3万以上可以买黄金。
对于中小投资者来说，黄金期货“门槛”也较适中。按交易首日的黄金期货合约价格计算，投资一手黄金合约需2万多元保证金，账户金额在5万元以上即可实现较安全持仓。
对老期货投资者来说，此前的开户金额最低一般为5万元，不必增加投资即可参与黄金期货交易；对于其他投资者来说，5万元与QDII等现有大量理财产品的投资“门槛”相当，可以成为新的投资选择。
黄金期货开户门槛基本是没有限制的，但下面还是有一些黄金期货开户的要求。
黄金期货开户限制：
1.年满18岁且具有完全民事行为能力。
2.有与进行期货交易相适应的自有资金或者其他财产，能够承担期货交易风险。
3.有固定的住所。
4.符合国家、行业的有关规定。
