日本官方数据显示，6月求才求职比位于逾20年来的高点，同时家庭支出较上月增长，显示消费者正在摆脱4月上调消费税的影响。6月所有家庭支出经季节调整后较上月增长1.5%，低于分析师预估中值增长2.2%，但扭转了4月和5月的萎缩势头。6月零售销售较上年同期减少0.6%，降幅略大于路透调查分析师预估的下降0.5%，5月零售销售较上年同期下降0.4%。相比1997年上次上调消费税引发的零售销售降幅，本次减速较为和缓。
