英央行会议反映部分委员更支持升息

英国央行公布最近5月7-8日会议记录显示，部分央行官员更加接近投票支持加息，不过他们都想先看到英国经济中的闲置产能降低。央行货币政策委员会(MPC)的九名成员一致投票维持利率不变，该结果符合路透调查中的分析师预期。不过会议纪录显示，央行官员仍对经济中到底有多少闲置产能、以及随着经济增长闲置产能减少的速度能有多快存在分歧。英国央行表示，“可以说，升息步伐越是渐进式的，可能越有必要及早开始紧缩政策。”另一方面，央行决策者表示，过早升息可能扼杀经济成长。英国央行表示，英镑强势可能在未来三年压低通胀。
