美国圣路易斯联邦储备银行总裁布拉德周五表示，美国经济要达成美国联邦储备理事会的通胀和就业目标已遥遥在望，预计今年余下时间经济成长“强劲”。布拉德表示，美联储“同过去五年相比，大大接近了政策目标，”事实上比自1960年来多数时间都接近这些目标。美联储的目标是充分就业和通胀在2%。他表示，严冬期间疲弱的经济成长将在今年余下时间转变为强劲的成长。他没有暗示是否强劲的预估会令美联储提前升息计划。布拉德还称近期美国就业和通胀数据“令人鼓舞”,显示经济可能正接近更正常阶段。
