美国经济数据疲软或只因天气 殖利率小跌

纽约制造业景气趋缓程度比市场想象还要严重、而营建业者的信心也大为下滑，令美国10年期公债殖利率18日下滑至一周低点。
Bloomberg Bond Trader报价显示，纽约债市18日尾盘时，美国10年期公债殖利率下跌3个基点至2.71%；盘中最低一度跌至2.69%、创2月11日以来新低。债券价格与殖利率呈现反向走势。
纽约联邦储备银行2月18日公布，经过季节性因素修正后，纽约州2月份制造业景气指数较前月12.51点下跌至4.48点，低于经济学家平均预估的9.0，反映制造业景气的扩张放缓。除此之外，美国全国住房建筑商协会(National Association of Home Builders，简称NAHB)/富国银行则公布，2月营建业信心指数由前月的56大减至46，降幅创下史上新高、同时也是去(2013)年5月以来首度跌破景气荣枯点50。
华尔街日报报导，Wilmington Broad Market Bond Fund共同经理人Wilmer Stith表示，从今(18)日债市的反应来看，市场似已开始认同经济趋缓完全是因为天候关系；若成长减缓并非完全与寒冬有关，那么债券价格的涨势应该会更加强劲。野村证券美国利率策略部主管George Goncalves则表示，美国投资人似乎很想将最近疲软的经济归咎于严寒天气、而非成长速度降温，这样的心态令人印象深刻。
TD Securities美国研究暨策略部副部长Millan L. Mulraine则指出，今日公布的数据再次显示寒冬对经济有广泛的冲击，预期还要再等一个月才能排除天候因素。
美国联储局(FED)预定要在19日公布前次联邦公开市场操作委员会(FOMC)的会议纪录，届时投资人将从中观察FED官员究竟聚焦经济的哪个面向。
海外投资人则继续买进美国公债。美国财政部18日公布，去年12月期间FED宣布减码量化宽松货币政策(QE)之际，外国投资人仍继续增持美债。根据报告，外国资金12月对美国公债的买超额达到179亿美元，其中民间投资人买超297亿美元、抵销外国央行卖超的119亿美元。不过，美国最大债务国中国大陆去年12月则抛售了478亿美元(相当于减持3.6%、减幅创2011年12月新高)的美债，总持有部位下降至1.27兆美元。
