美国上周初领失业金人数增加 高于预期

美国劳工部2月13日公布，经季节调整后，截至2月8日为止当周，首次申请失业救济金人数较前周增加8,000人至339,000人。根据彭博社的调查，经济学家的预估值为33万人。上周首次申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前周修正值增加3,500人至336,750人。截至2月1日为止当周，经季节调整后，连续申请失业救济金人数较前一周的修正值减少18,000人至2,953,000人。当周连续申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前一周的修正值减少17,250人至2,969,750人。截至2月1日为止当周，经过季节性因素调整后的保险失业率较前周持平为2.3%。彭博社报导，穆迪分析公司资深经济学家Ryan Sweet表示，初领失业金过去几周的表现较为波动，部分也受到恶劣天气因素的干扰，预期在冬季过后就业市场数据会有较佳的表现。过去六个月来，初领失业救济金人数平均为33.5万人，接近经济衰退后以来的新低。
联储局新任主席耶伦（Janet Yellen）本周在其首次的听证报告当中表示，经济活动加快促进了就业市场的扩大，但目前美国就业市场复苏远未达到预期。长期失业以及未充分就业人口数字突出表明，目前仍有许多美国民众没有工作。耶伦称，如果接下来劳动力市场继续改善，通膨前景也逐步向中长期目标回归，美联储将在未来的货币政策会议上继续削减购债规模。
