本周美联储即将召开1月的FOMC会议，若按预期来看，美联储将进一步缩减购债规模，并逐渐退出QE。IMF认为，这可能引发对资本外逃脆弱的国家(如土耳其和印度尼西亚)新一轮波动。
IMF总裁拉加德在达沃斯世界经济论坛上表示，美联储缩减QE是一个潜在的问题。拉加德说：这显然是一个新的风险，我们需要密切关注QE将如何被缩减，以什么速度缩减，如何与市场进行沟通以及会有什么溢出效应，尤其是在新兴市场。
