美国景气展望转好推升消费者信心回温。路透社/密歇根大学27日公布，11月消费者信心指数终值为75.1(初值为72)，高于10月份的73.2与路透社调查预估的73.5。
密大信心调查首席经济学家Richard Curtin表示，尽管低利率环境与股市荣景增强了顶层消费者信心，但低受薪户仍对就业市况感到忧虑。
现况分项指数自10月的89.9下滑至88点。消费者现况分项指数通常与股市、就业市场具有高度关联性，也反映出美国众对自身财务状况与是否进行大额采购的看法。
代表消费者对于未来6个月景气看法的期望指数，自前月的62.5上升至66.8；一年期通膨率预估由3.1%降至2.9%；5至10年期通膨率预期持平于2.9%。
密大消费者信心指数自1978年公布迄今，美国共计历经5次衰退，经济萎缩期间信心指数平均值为69.3。最近一次经济衰退为期18个月并于2009年6月结束，期间指数平均为64.2，而此前5年指数平均值为89。
