上周首次申请失业金人数减少 创4月新高

美国劳工部10月31日公布，经季节调整后，截至10月26日为止当周，首次申请失业救济金人数较前周减少10,000人至340,000人。根据彭博社的调查，经济学家的预估中间值为33.8万人，预估区间介于32-37万人之间。上周首次申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前周增加8,000人至356,250人，则是今年4月中以来的新高。
截至10月19日为止当周，经季节调整后，连续申请失业救济金人数较前一周的修正值增加31,000人至2,881,000人。当周连续申请失业救济金人数的4周移动平均值较前一周的修正值减少10,000人至2,878,750人。截至10月19日为止当周，经过季节性因素调整后的保险失业率较前周持平为2.2%。
彭博社报导，瑞士信贷（Credit Suisse Holdings）美国经济主管Jonathan Basile表示，本次的经济复苏以来，就业增长的情况一直较为落后；以目前就业增长的情况来看，还不足以造成工资上扬的压力。
人力资源服务公司Automatic Data Processing Inc.（ADP）与穆迪10月30日公布全美民间就业报告：经过季节性因素修正后，10月份民间非农业聘雇人数增加13万人，创下今年4月（12.4万人）以来的最小增幅。9月份数据则由增加16.6万人下修为增加14.5万人。
