人民币跻身十大货币 标志中国第二代经济体之崛起

人民币在国际清算银行最新的外汇成交额报告中跃居第九位，超过了瑞典克朗和新西兰元，中国这一全球第二大经济体的崛起和全球外汇市场的繁荣由此可见一斑。
国际清算银行引用4月份以来的调查数据称，过去三年人民币成交额增长了两倍多，2013年日成交额升至1,200亿美元。2013年美元日均成交额为4.65万亿美元。
人民币成交额飙升凸显出，中国希望在长期由美元和欧元主导的市场中扮演更加重要的角色。全球外汇日流动规模在三年内增长了30%以上。人民币在国际清算银行2010年的调查中仅位居第17位。名次的提高也彰显出制造业供应链的国际性特点以及美国企业可以更加灵活地运用人民币进行结算。
报告还显示，伦敦仍是主要的外汇交易中心：41%的日均外汇成交额发生在英国，高于1998年的32.6%。同期美国在外汇市场上所占比例小幅上升，由15年前的18.3%升至2013年的18.9%。
和人民币一样，墨西哥比索这次也跻身全球十大交投最活跃货币行列，为1998年以来首次上榜，可见新兴市场货币普遍崛起。人民币和墨西哥比索在全球外汇市场中所占的比例均提高一倍左右。俄罗斯卢布、土耳其里拉、南非兰特和巴西雷亚尔在全球外汇市场中的地位也都有所提升。而韩圆和波兰兹罗提所占的比例小幅下降。
在发达市场货币中，日圆资金流在今年的调查中也大幅增加，成交额较2010年激增63%。国际清算银行称，美元兑日圆交易额增长约70%。
中国央行周四的讲话加大了进一步放松跨境投资管制的可能性。中国近些年放宽了经济和银行业准入门槛，外部因素包括美联储削减刺激措施的计划。
