美股惊天逆转，黄金回升至1840上方
周一(1月24日)美元指数刷新近二周高点至96.13，美元兑其他所有G-10货币均走强，北欧货币因东欧局势动荡而表现落后。现货黄金震荡上行，收报1843.06美元/盎司，投资者关注周三结束的美联储政策会议，寻找有关美联储今年将加息多少以及何时开始的信号。随着美股大幅反弹，美油尾盘跌幅缩窄至1.25%，盘中一度大跌3.8%，因货币政策紧缩前景使避险情绪主宰金融市场。

IHS Markit经济学家Chris Williamson点评称，今年年初，飙升的病毒病例已使美国经济几乎陷入停滞，供应链延误和员工短缺加剧，企业受到干扰，新的限制措施也将出台。然而，奥密克戎变异株对产出的影响远远超过需求，新企业流入的强劲增长暗示，一旦限制放松，增长将再次提速。此外，尽管与港口拥堵和航运短缺有关的供应链延误继续持续拖累经济增长步伐，但与去年下半年大部分时间相比，供应链恶化的总体速度有所减缓。 这进而推动制造业对未来一年的乐观情绪升至一年多来的最高水平，并大幅降低了原材料价格通胀率。因此，尽管调查显示今年开局令人失望，但近期前景仍有一些令人鼓舞的信号。
古根海姆：美联储应该先从资产负债表发力
古根海姆首席投资官Scott Minerd表示，美联储应该着力减少货币供应量而不是上调短期利率，以遏制达到数十年来高位的通胀。他在报告中写道，令我惊讶的是，考虑到上次美联储2018年加息时缩表对市场影响多么糟糕，美联储还要考虑试图同时加息和缩表，他表示，警告了“震慑性”做法的危险。意外的冲击不会立即影响到通胀，但会立即影响已经高估的金融资产价格，破坏信心并损害经济稳定。Minerd去年曾认为通胀会是暂时的，现在他表示，价格大幅上涨可能是“疫情后经济复苏的一个坚韧而持续的特征。
