美10月消費者信心意外增強，金價跌落千八下方
周三（10月27日）亞洲時段，現貨黃金持穩于1793附近。周二（10月26日）金價回吐周一全部漲幅，美國10月消費者信心意外增強，提振了美元和美股，令金價承壓。但美債收益率的下跌支撐了金價。
道指和標普500指數創新高
美國股指周二小幅收高，道瓊斯工業指數和標普500指數創下新高，但由于Facebook公布季度業績後下跌，漲幅受限。
Facebook下跌3.92%，對標普500指數和納斯達克指數造成最大拖累，此前該公司警告稱，蘋果的新隱私規定調整將令其數字業務承壓。Facebook股價自3月8日以來首次收于200日移動均線下方，跌破這一技術支撐位可能表明進一步下跌。
Kace Capital Advisors管理合夥人Ken Polcari表示：“Facebook還有其他問題，當然財報也沒有那麽出色。”
標普500指數創下新高，原因是受到大盤股的提振。英偉達上漲6.70%，創下247.17美元的收盤紀錄高位，亞馬遜和蘋果分別上漲1.68%和0.46%。
標普500指數成份股公司第三季度的收益或將同比增長35.6%，市場人士在揣摩企業將如何應對供應鏈瓶頸、勞動力短缺和通脹壓力。
盡管標普11大類股幾乎全線上揚，但公用事業類股和房地産類股等防禦股表現最好，表明市場有些謹慎。
數據顯示，美國10月消費者信心意外增強，對高通脹的擔憂被勞動力市場前景改善所蓋過。美國商務部在一份報告中稱，9月新屋銷售大增14.0%。

世界大型企業研究會周二的調查顯示，消費者渴望在未來六個月購買住宅以及機動車和大件家電等高價商品。計劃度假的美國人占比創2020年2月以來最高，之後不久美國就爆發了第一波新冠病毒感染。
“消費者在經曆了低迷的第三季後更加樂觀，這支持了2021年最後一季經濟表現強勁的觀點，”FWDBONDS首席經濟學家Christopher Rupkey表示，“消費者知道勞動力市場吃緊給他們帶來支持，那些因夏末消費者信心下降而預期將出現經濟衰退的人將不得不改變想法。”
世企研10月消費者信心指數升至113.8，結束了此前的三個月連降，9月為109.8。這項更加側重于勞動力市場的指標6月曾創下128.9的峰值。與之形成鮮明對比的是，密歇根大學的調查顯示，10月初消費者信心下降。
消費者信心回升之際，新一波病毒感染正在消退。消費者對現狀和短期前景都持樂觀態度。接受訪查的經濟學家此前預測，10月該指數將降至108.3。
