通脹溫和黃金多頭大翻身，關注PPI與初請
周四（8月12日）亞洲時段，現貨黃金持穩于1752附近。周三（8月11日）金價大幅上漲逾1%，因溫和的美國消費者物價數據拖累了美元下跌，且緩解了市場對美聯儲即將縮減購債的擔憂，不過股市上漲限制了金價的漲勢。日內重點關注美國7月PPI及初請數據。
美國7月消費者價格上漲速度出現緩和
美國7月消費者價格漲幅有所放緩，但在物價上漲打擊消費者信心並推動政策辯論之際，這種放緩未能完全消除成本上漲帶來的壓力。
勞工部周三公布的數據顯示，美國7月消費者價格指數(CPI)環比上漲0.5%，同比上漲5.4%。扣除食品和能源成本的核心CPI環比上漲0.3%，同比上漲4.3%。
在供應受制約和需求激增情況下，成本壓力上升的企業正提高商品和服務價格。包括原材料短缺、運輸瓶頸和招聘困難在內的挑戰揮之不去，可能在未來數月繼續構成更廣泛的價格上行壓力。
經濟學家預估中值顯示，CPI料環比上升0.5%，同比上升5.3%。
數據發布後，美國國債收複失地，美元擴大跌幅，標普500指數期貨觸及盤中高位。
美元高位下跌
美元周三高位下跌，此前美國數據顯示，7月消費者價格升勢有所放緩，在一定程度上減輕了美聯儲開始放慢月度購債步伐的壓力。
盤中稍早，美元一度觸及93.19，為4月1日以來最高，距離2021年迄今高位93.43不遠，但在美國通脹數據公布後遭到抛售。
BK Asset Management董事總經理Kathy Lien表示：“CPI報告足以為美元帶來一些獲利了結，但歸根結底，這並不能改變美聯儲的立場，他們仍將宣布縮減資産購買計劃，”很可能在接下來的六周內發生。
與此同時，歐洲的投資者信心正在減弱，一項調查顯示，德國8月投資者信心連續第三個月惡化，因憂心新冠感染上升，第四波疫情可能會壓制這個歐洲最大經濟體的複蘇。
大田環球分析師表示，“當全球各地疫情仍然十分明顯的時候，投資者必須考慮美聯儲縮減刺激消息成真的可能性。“她補充稱，“其後果可能是美元走強，”特別是如果歐元跌破2021年的低位。
