美联储的隔夜逆回购工具是货币市场基金等交易对手将现金存入中央银行的方式。周一共吸纳46个参与者总计4860.97亿美元的资金。纽约联储公布的数据显示，这超过了5月27日的上个纪录高点4853亿美元，也高于上周五的4833亿美元。尽管美联储此项工具给出的利率为0%，但随着大量现金淹没美元融资市场，需求一直在增加。部分原因是央行的资产购买和美国财政部所持现金的减少，这导致准备金流入金融体系。
俄罗斯财政部称该国并不打算限制美元的使用
俄罗斯财政部在声明中表示，该国将依靠经济手段鼓励企业从美元转向欧元，并且不打算限制美元的使用。对俄罗斯的制裁导致贸易结算逐渐从美元转向其他货币，俄罗斯财政部支持这种转变，并创造监管刺激来鼓励它。俄罗斯财政部称，这种激励措施不能包括任何禁令，只有经济方法。俄新社和塔斯社撤回了早先援引财政部官员的报道，此前报道称俄罗斯政府计划下令国有企业进行这种转变。两个新闻社表示，这位官员收回了他的陈述。
