黄金微跌,避险情绪依旧强劲

9月25日,国际现货黄金价格微跌,由于美元回落而且美国退出更多经济刺激措施的希望重新出现,金价可能遇到较大跌幅。不过股市再度波动,加上宏观环境以及地缘政治的不确定性,黄金仍有较大避险吸引力。
美元指数脱离两个月高点,但周线上涨1.5%,料录得4月初来最大周线涨幅。美元上涨会导致黄金对其他货币持有者而言变得昂贵。
美国国会众议院筹款委员会主席尼尔表示,民主党人正在努力制定2.2万亿美元的新冠疫情刺激计划,议员们将在下周投票表决。
不过美国参议院拨款委员会主席Richard Shelby表示,虽然财政部长姆努钦早些时候谈到要重启刺激法案谈判,但国会通过法案的机会“渺茫”。他没有透露具体时间表,Shelby指出,“机会总是有的,但概率很小,零敲碎打的法案很难通过。必须将他们合在一块”。
全球各国央行已经推出大量刺激措施并将利率降至零附近,以因应疫情对经济的冲击,这助推金价今年上涨逾20%。
尽管经历了一轮又一轮的平仓,黄金ETF的资金外流不断增加,但黄金的投资需求依然坚挺,虽然美元走强和实际利率上升抑制了投资者对黄金的偏好,由于股市再度波动,以及持续的宏观和地缘政治不确定性,黄金的避险吸引力仍将强劲。美元走强以及美国大选前新财政刺激计划的前景消退已经导致金价下跌。
眼下黄金市场的一大风险在于其只有一个坚实的支撑,即投资需求。并且整个市场极为少见地在黄金ETF等投资需求和实物需求直接出现如此巨大的分歧。今年上半年黄金的消费需求全面崩溃,但投资需求,尤其是北美和欧洲的投资需求强劲,足以抵消消费需求的下降。
在疫情继续影响全球经济的情况下,全球利率会继续维持在低水平,也就继续为贵金属市场提供支撑。或许很长时间里都不会出现加息了。此外疫情影响下,黄金矿产和加工行业也将受到影响,意味着供应面可能出现问题,同样会为金价提供支撑。
