金价因大量平仓而回落，失守关口

2月24日的美盘时间中，金价出现明显回落，失守1660关口，虽然美元指数的回升让金价有所承压，但主要原因是黄金涨幅过于明显，多头积累丰厚利润，出现大量交易单平仓而引起的行情回落。
大田环球表示，市场对全球公共卫生事件的担忧推动黄金大幅上涨，但市场的担忧或许有些过度了。疫情在中国的传播速度已经放缓，虽然目前全球其他地区逐渐出现确诊病例激增的情况，但预期疫情最终能够得到遏制。因此，当恐慌消退时，市场的避险需求可能会下降，金价出现修正是可能的，但这并不意味着黄金将会走向熊市。
黄金的牛市已经开始一段时间，最重要的是，近期市场的恐惧压低了长期利率，收益率曲线再度倒挂。曲线的倒挂将会重燃市场对经济衰退的担忧，进而推动美联储于今年至少降息一次。随着恐慌的加剧与收益率的不断下降，美联储可能被迫再次干预。在这样的环境下，黄金继续走高的可能性较高。
纽约商品交易所黄金期货市场交投最活跃的4月黄金期价24日比前一交易日上涨27.8美元，收于每盎司1676.6美元，涨幅为1.69%。R市场现在受到了惊吓，人们担心的不是疫情本身，而是对经济方面的问题。道琼斯工业指数骤降约一千点，公债收益率也下跌。
近日意大利、韩国和伊朗报告的新增病例急剧上升，阿富汗和伊拉克报告国内首例病例；世界卫生组织(WHO)表示，对与中国没有明显联系的病例不断上升感到担忧。
美国三个月国库券和10年期公债收益率曲线进一步倒置，分析师认为收益率曲线倒置是经济衰退的信号。指标10年期公债收益率日内跌逾10个基点，刷新2016年7月以来低点至1.350%。利率期货市场显示，美联储7月或之前降息的可能性超过80%。
