2月4日，国际金价继续呈现下行趋势，而亚欧股市则普遍走强，对公共卫生事件带来的冲击起到了一定的缓和，但产业链也受到了持续的影响，全球制造业也还没有走出困境，加上英国和欧盟之间的谈判矛盾尖锐，市场情绪可能转向负面。
亚欧股市周二普遍走强，沪综指收高1.34%至2783.29点；金价上日录得1月8日以来新高至1592.11美元/盎司。
欧洲央行副总裁德金多斯(Luis de Guindos)警告称，尽管突发公共卫生事件已经对全球市场产生了“巨大”影响，但也不应仓促应对，“我认为我们必须非常审慎，市场不喜欢不确定性。”
现在最大的问题是，风险情绪改善的状况能够持续多久，除非我们能够确认事态正朝好的方向发展，否则风险情绪确实很有可能重新转向负面，黄金空头维持短线快进快出策略。
美国制造业活动在连续五个月萎缩后，1月意外出现反弹，新订单劲升，这为长期低迷的企业投资可能已触底带来希望。
在迹象显示美国消费者支出疲弱之际，企业投资反弹将对维持来到第11个年头的史上持续时间最长的经济扩张至关重要。ISM制造业数据在1月份改善，可能反映了美中贸易紧张关系的缓和。
经济学家估计，波音20多年来最大的装配线停工可能会使美国第一季国内生产总值(GDP)增幅至少减少0.5个百分点。2019年美国经济增长2.3%，是三年来最低，2018年增长2.9%。
英镑兑美元创下12月25日以来新低1.2941。此前英国首相鲍里斯·约翰逊对欧盟贸易谈判的强硬态度再次引发人们对英欧贸易前景的担忧。
双方都希望能达成贸易协议，但英国已设定今年年底为最后期限，欧盟警告说，如果首相约翰逊想要无关税、无配额的协议，他将必须签署确保公平竞争的规定。
英国正式脱欧不久，英欧双方亮明了各自的目标。若双方无法在短期内弥合对未来关系看法的显著分歧，可能导致彼此关系疏远，全球经济也会增加新的不确定性，避险黄金也将获得新的支撑。
