欧元兑美元有所跳升，创下近几周的新高点，同时投资者对全球贸易环境取得突破性进展而出现乐观预期，加上英国有序脱欧的预期带动英镑短线大涨，但欧盟峰会即将展开，脱欧能否顺利进行仍有一定疑虑。
欧洲理事会主席图斯克称，英国仍然没有提出实际可行的脱欧建议，已经告知约翰逊，如果今天没有切实可行的提议，将在宣布峰会上没有达成协议的机会。不过随后表示在昨天与约翰逊会面后，收到了爱尔兰总理许诺的签约信，达成协议仍然是可能的。英镑兑美元短线飙升50点至1.2505，短线暴泻近90点至1.2409后再度转涨，刷新7月2日以来新高1.2685，目前回吐部分涨幅，交投于1.2617附近。
国际贸易局势方面的消息也需留意。据欧联网援引欧联通讯社报道，美国此前获世界贸易组织(WTO)批准，将对欧盟75亿美元商品加征关税，对此，法国财长布鲁诺·勒梅尔10日说，如果达不成和解，欧洲将采取关税报复措施，征税目标是120亿美元。
北京时间周六(10月12日)01:15，2019年FOMC票委、波士顿联储主席罗森格伦将在一场有关美国经济挑战的座谈会上发表讲话。在本周美联储公布的9月会议纪要立场偏鸽，令市场对其年内再度降息的预期升温后，关注“超级鸽派”罗森格伦是否进一步释放宽松信号，若预期兑现，欧元有望上行。
欧洲央行方面，行长德拉基表示，欧洲央行注意到特定领域面临不利影响，政策制定者所处环境存在重大不确定性。欧元区更加积极的财政政策将使我们能够更快地调整我们的政策。
欧元区经济数据及各项调查继续显示，该地区衰退风险逐步提升，通胀压力似乎逐步下降。本周欧洲央行委员们强调了最近的经济刺激计划，尽管大量批评人士认为欧洲央行的负利率政策扭曲经济和金融市场，损害苦苦挣扎的金融业。
