千三關口做支撐，美聯儲未來會降息

3月18日，現貨黃金重新站在1千三關口上，因美元指數持續降低，美國經濟數據疲弱，以及美聯儲年內不會進行加息的預期，市場甚至預期美聯儲將會降息。而特朗普否決了國會的決議，讓國家維持在緊急狀態，進一步增加黃金保險功能。
美國上周五(3月15日)公佈的經濟數據遜於預期，美國2月美國製造業產出下降0.4%，連續第二個月下滑，鞏固了外界預期美聯儲本周可能持鴿派立場的預期，美國公債收益率因而下跌至1月4日以來新低的2.578%。
一堆雜亂的經濟數據讓鮑威爾的任務變得更加困難，包括上月就業崗位增長大幅減緩，而同時失業率重新回落，薪資還在上漲。儘管如此，相對於2%的聯儲通脹目標，2月生產者物價指數同比上漲1.9%，消費者物價指數僅上升1.5%，為兩年半以來最小年度漲幅。
經濟放緩抑制物價上漲，讓美聯儲對收緊政策不得不有所克制，鮑威爾和他的同事們本周幾乎肯定會維穩利率，並堅持承諾對貨幣政策保持“耐心”，美指或打響96關口保衛戰。
市場調查預估顯示，美國第一季國內生產總值(GDP)環比年率料為增長1.6%，低於前季的增長2.6%，並且低於上個月預估的1.9%。2019年全年美國GDP增長率料為2.0-2.5%，2020年中期放緩至1.8%。
分析師表示：“目前焦點在於，美聯儲的立場會有多溫和。我覺得市場在預期降息方面有些過度。如果美聯儲點陣圖顯示，委員會成員仍預計今年會加息，那麼這種觀點有可能會減退。”
美國總統特朗普上周五在總統任內首次行使否決權，否決了國會通過的反對他為修建美、墨邊界牆撥款而宣佈國家緊急狀態的決議。特朗普重申對於邊境存在危機的看法，宣稱此一決議草率，並對自己動用否決權感到自傲。
他在橢圓形辦公室中表示：“身為總統，保護國家是我最高的職責。昨天，國會通過一項危險的決議，如果簽署成為法律，將令無數美國人陷入險境，非常重大的危險，國會有通過這項決議的自由，而我有責任將其否決。”
移民問題與修築邊境牆的承諾，在2020年總統競選中將再度成為熱點議題。在全球民粹主義思潮不斷抬頭的當下，反全球化浪潮的加劇必將進一步拖累全球經濟增長前景，從而為避險買盤尋求金市避險提供新的依據。
