中美贸易战殃及池鱼，澳元深受打击

澳元兑美元在亚洲时段尽数回吐，美元反弹以及中美贸易紧张局势施压汇价，澳元前景偏空，同时北美自由贸易协定的达成将进一步提振美元打压澳元。
最新消息显示，美联储博斯蒂克表示，贸易争端导致未来规则面临不确定性，贸易关税可能开始束缚商业活动，企业将暂停投资直至贸易前景明朗。
此前美国总统特朗普表示，除了2000亿美元外还可能对2670亿美元中国商品加征关税，另据悉特朗普政府还考虑在对华贸易问题上动用网络安全制裁措施。
中美贸易紧张局势的恶化持续拖累与中国贸易表现密切相关的澳元，此外时段内稍早公布的澳大利亚8月NAB商业信心指数跌至4，前值为7，也施压汇价。
北欧银行(Nordea)讨论了澳元前景，认为从中期角度来看，做空澳元兑加元看起来诱人，1月时曾指出“铜期货净多仓处于纪录高位，未来数月铜期货多仓即使出现小幅调整，也将导致澳元兑美元处于困境”，因此若投资者们押注晚周期商品外汇的话，那么做多加元将强于做多澳元，因国际原油期货价格表现料跑赢铜期货。
铜期货仓位仍为多仓主导，做空澳元兑加元体现了若美国与加拿大达成北美自由贸易协定，那么加元将出现反弹。
