美国税改投票乐观，美联储明年加息三次

税改计划的主要推动力是将公司税税率从35%下调至20%。大部分的商业扣减和信贷可以被用来降低对利润的有效税率，这是部分的抵消。
尽管如此，民主党人认为整体方案是递减的，因为最富有的家庭将受益于最高税率的收入门槛。废除替代性最低税和对遗产税的改变也将对美国最富有的人造成影响。共和党人反驳说，限制房产税减免和取消州和地方税收减免将对最富有人群产生影响。
