埃及政变，特朗普扬言根除毒瘤
埃及西奈半岛周五发生严重恐怖袭击事件，目前已经造成了逾400人死伤。美国总统特朗普此后对此事件予以了高调回应，强调国际社会应当动用军事手段来“无情碾碎”各路恐怖组织。而她也同时指出，正不断有血的教训告诉大家，美国修建边境墙并实施“旅行禁令”都是多么有必要。
特朗普当天在推特上表示，“边境墙”和“旅行禁令”都是必需的！埃及爆炸事件发生时，特朗普正在他位于佛罗里达州的私人庄园“工作室休假”来欢度感恩节，但他仍然在第一时间向埃及总统塞西致电慰问。
特朗普此后还发推特强调称：“对于恐怖主义的肆虐，全世界范围的人们都已经忍无可忍。所以，大家必须采取军事手段割除恐怖毒瘤，并铲除滋生恐怖主义的邪恶根基。”他在与埃及总统通话时表示，美国将继续与埃及并肩作战来应对恐怖主义的威胁。白宫发言人此后也表示，恐怖集团的野蛮行径是国际社会所不能容忍的，全球必须强化力度来打击任何形式的恐怖主义和极端主义。
特朗普趁机也继续兜售了其修建墨西哥边境隔离墙，以及限制部分中东国家居民入境美国的必要性。他表示，美国理应比以往更加坚韧和强大，并且也确实正在朝着这个方向努力。上周，白宫已经再度向最高法院施压，要求全面落实所谓的“旅行禁令”。
而特朗普要求对恐怖份子“绝不留情”的这番言论，也在国际上引起了共鸣。除了恐怖事件的直接受害方埃及方面之外，印度总理莫迪也在周日表示，全球各国理应携起手来共同击溃恐怖主义。而恰恰在周末期间，巴基斯坦方面特赦了包括当年印度孟买爆炸案主谋哈菲兹在内的多名极端分子，这让美国和印度方面都感到非常不快。
