美联储循序渐进地加息方式是合适的；通胀低于2%目标不应阻止美联储加息。飓风会对美国经济造成临时性的影响。美国正处在充分就业。对近期的低通胀数据没有太过于担心；低通胀支撑了消费者的购买力。美国经济向好支持美联储开始缩表。
