英镑多头来袭，喜讯不断
英镑兑美元7月31日亚欧时段震荡回落，一度跌破1.31关口，触及日低1.3096，但汇价仍接近10个月高点；投资者聚焦本周英国央行“超级星期四”的指挥棒，期望从中了解到，处于纪录低点的利率是否可能很快被上调；目前来看英国央行可能鹰派维稳，蒙特利尔银行认为，这或温和支撑英镑。
英镑最近几周受到支撑，因为在英国央行官员们发表一系列讲话后，市场预计该央行最终准备加息——如果未来英国央行加息，这将是十多年来首次。但就目前而言，英国央行行长卡尼和大多数英国央行高级官员似乎仍准备维持其“等待观望”的模式。
日内公布的数据显示，上个月中，被批准的抵押贷款下降至九个月低点，无担保贷款增长进一步放缓，表明英国房产市场和消费经济动能小幅减弱，但这对英镑的影响有限。
不过，这些数据使得疲弱经济数据的阵营进一步壮大，推升了英国脱欧对经济影响的不确定性，使市场对英国央行即将解除其“经济危机水平的”刺激政策的预期降温。
英国央行周四还将公布季度通胀报告，经济学家预计，英国央行将略微上调其通胀预期；但由于年初经济增长疲软，预计料将下调其经济增长预期。
一些投资者认为，英国央行政策制定者的强硬言论，只不过是试图通过言论提振英镑——自2016年6月英国脱欧公投以来，英镑兑美元和兑欧元均下跌了几乎15%。
但另一些人则表示，随着政府团结在脱欧周围，以及随着有迹象表明，市场恐慌的“硬脱欧”可以避免，英国央行正在倾向于紧缩——八名MPC成员中有三人在上次会议上投了赞成票。
货分析师说：“我们相信，英国央行释放其正在接近升息的信号是合乎逻辑的。来自英国政府的噪音可能也鼓励了英国央行，因为这些噪音支持了对英国脱欧过渡性协议的假设。”
曾经致力于“英国留欧”的菲利普·哈蒙德（Philip Hammond）被人们视为“软脱欧”的支持者，他表示支持英国首相特雷莎?梅想要的英国脱欧过渡性协议。
哈蒙德周末告诉法国一家报纸，英国不打算将税收降低到远低于欧洲平均值的水平，以便在英国脱欧后保持竞争力，而是仍将保持“社会经济模式”，那是明显的欧洲式的。
