美联储缩表对市场的影响将是有限的
对于目前市场极为关注的美联储缩表问题，卡普兰表示，美联储缩减资产负债表对市场的影响将是有限的。
卡普兰表示，与墨西哥的贸易关系对美国很重要。而对于下任美联储主席人选，他认为，美联储主席应该有能力自己去做经济分析。此前耶伦拒绝回答是否留任的问题。
此前美联储主席耶伦出席听证会是在讲话中表示，美联储正在密切关注通胀数据，通胀的压力是双向的，将低通胀归因于短期因素，并将手机价格下跌原因为特殊因素，耶伦认为现在说潜在通胀趋势低于2%还为时尚早。
