美联储卡普兰：美国迈向充分就业 通胀率正朝2%前进
美国达拉斯联储主席卡普兰周四(12月1日)表示，美国正迈向充分就业，而且通胀率也正朝着2%的目标迈进。同时他认为，尽管劳动市场可能有一定松弛，但并不严重。
卡普兰称，“我们相信劳动力市场存在一定程度的松弛，但可能没有一些人想象的那么严重。另外，尽管居民去杠杆造成了GDP增长迟滞，但也足以消除劳动市场的松弛。”
他还强调贸易十分关键，但指出，“工作岗位的流失常被归因于贸易，但很多时候可能是因为技术的原因。”
卡普兰提到，货币政策一直以来都扮演着主要经济政策的角色。教育、移民和培训政策或许能给货币政策提供更多的回转空间。
他补充道，“美国需要政策解决劳动力人口占总人口比例不断缩小的问题，在这方面美国将面临长期挑战。”
卡普兰曾在高盛担任高管，尽管他在今年的联邦公开市场委员会(FOMC)没有投票权，但明年将获得投票权。
