周四(6月16日)纽约盘初，美国5月CPI和初请数据双双差于预期，美元在短暂反弹后再度走跌。具体数据显示，美国5月季调后CPI月率上升0.2%，预期上升0.3%，前值上升0.4%；美国5月未季调CPI年率上升1%，预期上升1.1%，前值上升1.1%。美国5月未季调核心CPI年率上升2.2%，5月未季调核心CPI月率上升0.2%。
美国6月11日当周初请失业金人数为27.70万人，预期27万人，前值为26.40万人。
路透称，美国5月季调后CPI年率增速放缓至1.0%，升幅不及预期值和前值(两者均为1.1%)，但是住房价格和医疗保健价格持续上扬，支撑了潜在通胀，这使得美联储在今年晚些时候仍可以加息。
尽管周三美联储决议偏鸽，但由于受到英国脱欧公投的提振，美元挽回日内稍早跌势并再度突破95关口阻力，美元和黄金同涨的局面也显示出市场避险情绪在发酵。
