瑞士央行行长乔丹周四(2月11日)在接受一家杂志的采访时表示，尽管瑞士央行已经实施了负利率，但不排除进一步降息的可能性，同时也警告欧洲的动荡可能会重振瑞郎的避险地位。
在被Bilanz杂志问及瑞士央行是否可能进一步降息时，乔丹说，在负利率的道路上已走的相对较远了，目前正在密切监控形势，不会排除央行采取任何措施的可能性。
乔丹在周四刊出的采访中表示，瑞士央行的货币政策旨在削弱瑞郎，为了这个目标，瑞士央行采取了负利率，并做好了进一步干预外汇市场的准备。
乔丹称，瑞郎依旧高估，有可能逐步走弱。不过他也补充道，相比一年前，高估问题的重要性已有所下降。
在被问及瑞士央行是否针对欧元兑瑞郎设定汇率目标时，乔丹称，没有一个固定的目标，在央行的决策中，会整体考虑汇率的形势。
对于瑞郎的避险低位，乔丹说，负利率有助于阻止资金从新兴市场流入瑞士，因为其他经济体的货币相对而言更加具有吸引力。不过他也说道，欧洲的大波动可能将瑞郎重新置于避险货币的地位。
他排除了将瑞郎与一揽子货币绑定或再度引入汇率上限的可能性。
乔丹说 ，目前通胀率为负，而且低于瑞士央行的期望水平，极具扩张性的货币政策旨在推动中期通胀上升。
根据周四公布的最新数据显示，瑞士1月CPI指数同比下降1.3%。
