周五，加拿大统计局数据显示，加拿大11月通胀数据不佳，CPI月率降为负值，下降0.1%，年率升幅不及预期，美元兑加元短线飙升逾60点，上破1.40关口刷新12年新高1.4003。
数据显示，加拿大11月CPI月率下降0.1%，预期上升0.1%，前值上升0.1%；
11月CPI年率上升1.4%，预期上升1.5%，前值上升1%。
11月核心CPI年率上升2%，预期上升2.3%，前值上升2.1%；
11月核心CPI月率下降0.3%，预期持平，前值上升0.3%。
加拿大统计局称，此次11月CPI月率表现不及预期，因为汽油价格走低抵消了食品和住房成本的走高。
加拿大统计局表示，加拿大批发销售连续四个月走低，因为食品、机动车辆以及零件销售低迷，使得该数据表现不及市场预期。
除了疲软的通胀数据之外，加元还面临多重压力，一方面油价持续下行，另一方面美联储开启了近十年来的首次加息。
