俄罗斯央行第一副行长Dmitry Tulin在周二(5月26日)称，俄罗斯央行正在增持黄金。
据称，5月俄罗斯央行继续增持黄金，总持有量增加至4010万盎司黄金，比此前3980万盎司增加了30万盎司。Tulin表示：“我们在增持黄金，尽管这是有市场风险的。金价有所波动，但另一方面，这也是100%的合法且无政治风险的。”
Tulin的表态显现出俄罗斯对该国海外资产的担忧，由于乌克兰局势的影响，俄罗斯受到西方国家的制裁。
