另外，劳工部公布，上周初请失业金人口增加2.5万，经季节性调整后为30.4万。不过，潜在趋势仍与就业市场不断改善的大趋势相一致。初请失业金人口四周移动均值减少3,250，至28.975万。该数据消除了周与周之间的波动，能更好地反应就业市场趋势。美国金融市场对数据反应不大。
