中国央行网站周五公布的数据显示，中国截至7月末黄金储备5393万盎司（1677.3吨），较6月末5331万盎司增加62万盎司（或19.28吨），增幅1.16%。
这是继7月20日，世界最大的黄金消费国中国，时隔六年首次宣布大幅增持黄金储备后，第二次宣布增持，在世界金储排行榜上仍为第五位。
截至6月末的黄金储备为5331万盎司（1658吨），较上次于2009年更新数据时的3389万盎司（1054吨）增长57.3%。届时，中国的黄金储备已超过俄罗斯，在全球排名第五。美国以8133.5吨的储备居全球首位。
同时央行更新外汇储备数据显示，7月末央行口径外汇占款下降3080亿元，至26.4万亿元人民币。7月末金融机构口径外汇占款下降2491亿元，至28.9万亿元人民币。
