随着美联储(FED)加息脚步愈发临近，为防范美国上调利率引爆美元涨势，卷入全球货币战的亚太地区央行近期纷纷放下“武器”。
澳洲联储(RBA)主席史蒂文斯(Glenn Stevens)跟随新西兰联储(RBNZ)主席惠勒(Graeme Wheeler)的脚步，周二(8月4日)在货币政策声明中并未作出呼吁澳元走弱的表述。
惠勒两周前的表态显示他对纽元过强的担忧有所缓和。此外，日本央行(BOJ)行长黑田东彦(Haruhiko)上月称，没有加大空前货币刺激力度的打算。
当然，这并不一定意味着这些国家的货币跌势结束，而可能更多的表明美国加息前景缓解了其他国家放宽货币政策的压力。
澳元近来的跌势使其距离受访策略师对今年底的预测中值只差不到1美分，纽元和日元已跌破策略师在6月份和7月份作出的年底预测。
自新西兰总理约翰·基(John Key)7月20日发表有关纽元下滑速度超出预期的言论以来，纽元/美元汇率几无变动。
纽元/美元在7月16日曾重挫至六年低位0.6499，一周前新西兰联储主席惠勒曾宣布降息。接受调查的策略师的预期中值显示，纽元/美元年底料位于0.65水平。
Manulife Asset Management驻伦敦的固定收益交易员Chris Chapman指出，全球的央行都在等待美联储加息，澳洲联储和新西兰联储都已调整了他们的措辞。
