现货黄金价格周一急跌超过4%,至五年低位,因在亚洲交易时段早盘,上海和纽约市场突然遭遇一波抛售,引发一次小规模闪崩,使金市数年来最大规模的抛售雪上加霜。
上海金价所周一开盘后不久,在一分钟内出现了一波卖出指令,使交投最活跃的美国期金合约急跌48美元,至2010年2月以来最低每盎司1080美元。
交易员当时称,黄金在亚洲对冲基金和杠杆投资者主导的全线抛压下走低。
路透社报道称,在两分钟的时间里,估计有33吨、价值13亿美元的黄金在上海和纽约金市易手。由于日本休市,市场缺乏流动性,使跌势加速。
猛烈的抛售导致芝加哥商业交易所(CME)熔断机制一分钟内两次被触发。
美国芝加哥商业交易所(CME Group Inc)发言人周一表示,曾于北京时间周一09:29:03(美国东部时间周日)开始两次暂停美国COMEX黄金期货交易,每次暂停时间为20秒。
CME熔断机制(circuit breakers)干扰交易活动本来就非常罕见,而同一个交易时段内连续两次发生此类事件就更加如此,凸显出黄金卖盘规模庞大、且极为迅速。这一机制旨在避免流动性不足的市场里加剧价格波动的交易指令。
第二次暂停是在第一次结束29秒后在此启动的,是“速度逻辑”(Velocity Logic)的一部分,这是为了匹配期货和期权交易而引入的暂停。在暂停期间,客户可以提交、修改或取消交易订单。
抛售的确切原因尚不得而知,但交易商和分析师认为,此次市场异动是高频算法交易和止损抛售所致。
“这只是一小撮空头抛售,交易的另一端没有人接盘,” 法国兴业银行[-1.05% 资金 研报]的分析师Robin Bhar说。
纽约尾盘,金价缩减部分跌幅,但最新的一波跌势将过去10年牛市所累计的涨幅抹去了一半,使金价重回一关键技术水准,并可能跌向1,000美元。
