据经济学家预测，欧元区的5月份通胀指数将从4月份的0%上升到0.2%。这份报告将在本日发布，一旦如此，这也标志着六个月以来的首次物价上升。

周一(6月1日)欧元走弱是因为希腊仍在苦苦挣扎以求能及时偿付国际货币基金(IMF[微博])的到期贷款，按照协议规定，希腊将要在6月分四次还款给IMF，首次还款是在6月5日。
欧洲央行决策者这周将在法兰克福召开每隔六周一次的例会，希腊问题将是这次会议的主题。随着希腊政府努力来避免因无法付款而造成的违约，他们将重新评估应急流动性的要求以及是否限制希腊银行所需的资金。
