据路透社报道，油价周一走低，因美元走强，以及在沙特报告原油出口量触及近10年最高水平后，市场担忧油市供应过剩的情况日益严重。
原油期价早盘上扬超过1美元，因伊斯兰国军事武装在伊拉克向前大幅推进，以及以沙特为首的联军重新开始轰炸也门胡塞叛军的消息引发对中东动荡局势的担忧。
美元指数上扬逾1%，涨幅为三周最大。由19种商品构成，以原油为主导的汤森路透/Core Commodity CRB指数下跌0.3%，因美元走强，使持有欧元等其他货币的投资者购买以美元计价的商品的成本降低。
数据显示，沙特3月原油出口升至2005年11月以来最高。分析师称，这也重压油价。布兰特原油期货收跌0.54美元，报每桶66.27美元，盘中触及67.88美元的高位。美国原油期货收跌0.26美元，报每桶59.43美元。周一公布的数据显示，投机客两个月来首次削减看涨布兰特原油的押注。
路透周一报道，高盛在周六公布的一份给客户的报告中称，预计到2020年布兰特原油期价将为55美元，目前的水准为超过65美元。分析师称，油市供应仍然过剩，且如果美国原油产量增加、石油输出国组织(OPEC)的产量继续报告在高位，则供应过剩的局面可能恶化。 OPEC轮值主席国科威特称，全球油市供应过剩是因需求放缓，和页岩油产量增加所致，并非受OPEC产量影响。伊朗副油长告诉路透，OPEC不可能在6月会议上减产，伊朗希望在核协议达成后三个月内，将石油出口恢复至制裁前每日250万桶的水平。
