美元兑欧元周二重挫，为四个交易日来首见，因德债收益率攀升令市场不安，并促使交易商买回欧元以降低投资组合损失。
德国10年期公债收益率从周一日低0.52%急升22个基点，至周二日高0.74%。指标10年期美国公债收益率US10YT=RR 盘中触及六个月高位2.37%，后逆转走势，最新报2.26%。
欧洲央行1万亿欧元的购债刺激计划压低欧洲公债收益率，10年期德债收益率上月险些跌至负值区域，4月17日触及0.05%的纪录低位。
持有德债多头、欧元空头头寸的投资者被迫在德债遭抛售时买回欧元，以降低损失，Merk Investments的总裁兼首席投资长Axel Merk称，这些投资者通过杠杆放大了这些头寸。
“投资者出脱通过杠杆放大了的头寸，这引发了市场的涟漪效应，”他说，”他们持续作空欧元，因此他们不得不削减这些头寸。”
另外行内人士认为，一旦有迹象显示美国联邦储备理事会(FED/美联储)接近升息，美元将重拾升势。
