昨日美国初请失业金继续暗示就业市场强劲，但金价下跌并非真正受此影响，一方面，该数据后金价虽急跌约9美元至日低1178.78，但很快收复了该跌幅，另一方面，但从下跌时点来看，欧市盘初已完成了昨日大部分跌幅，受技术面卖盘、债市收益率升至年内高位(打压黄金吸引力)的双重打压。
昨日数据显示，美国上周(5月2日当周)初请失业金人数虽小增0.3万至26.5万，但仍处在15年低位，同时也是连续第九周低于30万关口，暗示在经济增长放缓的情况下劳动力市场仍持续强劲。
《华尔街日报》评论称，本次初请数据表明美国就业市场持续强劲，有望帮助美国经济摆脱第一季度的低迷。众多交易员表示，美国经济数据令人失望，股市也在下跌，而黄金价格却未能趁机反弹，这无疑加重了投资者对黄金市场恐怕会进一步下跌的担忧情绪。
那么，推跌金价的背后真正市场情绪，是什么呢？——债市收益率的上升。在黄金市场不能提供收益的情况下，美国国债收益率上涨无疑会导致黄金黯然失色。美债市场已出现2011年3月份以来最长连涨周期，这无疑让黄金市场疲态尽显。德国10年期国债收益率5月6日录得2015年新高，而10年期美债收益率也录得2014年12月份以来最高位。
荷兰银行(ABN Amro)分析师Boele也称，债券收益率上涨，这对黄金市场的利空程度在目前显得尤为突出。麦格里分析师Matthew Turner表示，同金价关系最密切的美国实质收益率上升，这拖累了金价。预计美联储将较目前市场预估更早升息。
德国商业银行的大宗商品研究团队称，只要债市继续修正，黄金市场恐怕就难以摆脱下行压力。美国4月非农报告或能助金价跳出这一回调模式，因一旦数据疲软将减弱美联储对经济的乐观评估，推迟加息的预期将重新发酵。
目前，市场仍预计，周五(5月8日)的美国4月非农就业人口增幅料为22.4万，较3月区区12.6万的增幅应大幅反弹。美国4月非农将于北京时间今晚(5月8日)20:30公布。本周五的非农数据毫无疑问是市场关注的最大焦点，这将成为决定美国二季度就业市场是否能够走出上季阴霾的关键。一旦数据表现不佳，金价能够获得推动；相反，若数据大幅好于预期，黄金将很有可能再度遭受重挫。
